Silky French Pie, owned by Kelli Word and ridden by Hallie Melvin, displayed class and consistency at the Gold Cup clocking 15.252 in round 1, 15.206 in round 2 and 15.222 in the short go earning 3rd  place in the finals for her 3-run Average time of 45.680.  The palomino mare is sired by Frenchmans Guy and out of Nobodys Darling, by Next To The Limit. Her efforts made Frenchmans Guy the 1st Annual XL Stallion Bonus award recipient worth $2,200!!!  Frenchmans Guy will also take home the 1stplace Gold Cup Stallion Awards from the Speedhorse Stallion Auction Sire Awards worth an additional $1,380!
